Emergency services are pleading for motorists to not drive through flooded roads after the discovery of a woman's body inside a submerged car.
Emergency services responded to calls for assistance after the vehicle was washed away in Mount Ossa, north of Mackay, on Wednesday around 5am.A swift rescue water team was deployed to the area to locate the vehicle. It was found three hours later with the body of a 31-year-old Calen woman inside.
