An Adelaide home is targeted for the second time in two nights, with a woman hit on the head with a molotov cocktail.
A woman has been hit in the head with a molotov cocktail following an attack on an Adelaide home overnight, which police say was targeted for the second time in as many nights.Residents were woken up by noises in their front yard just after 4:30amPolice said the house on Addison Street in Rosewater, in Adelaide's west, was targeted by two men armed with the flammable weapons just after 4:30am this morning.
"When they went out to see what was going on two men were seen throwing molotov cocktails in small green bottles at their house," he told ABC Radio Adelaide. He said a woman was hit in the head with one of the molotov cocktails, leaving her with a small cut on her ear. The attackers ran away from the scene and headed north to a light-coloured sedan, possibly an early model Toyota Camry, before driving away.
"The woman in her 50s that was hit in the head by the bottle had a small cut that was treated at the scene by ambulance officers but fortunately didn't require hospital treatment," Senior Constable Brown said.
