A woman has been killed, and a little girl and a man were seriously injured when two cars crashed on a Queensland road. The vehicles collided at the intersection of Gin Gin Mount Perry Rd and Gillens Siding Rd in Moolboolaman, near Bundaberg , about 7.42am on Wednesday. A Queensland Ambulance Spokesperson said paramedics assessed three people at the scene for multiple injuries before calling rescue helicopters for backup.
A 32-year-old woman driving a red Holden Commodore was assessed by paramedics in a critical condition but died at the scene. Her passenger, a nine-year-old girl, was airlifted to Bundaberg Hospital in a critical but stable condition with head and chest injuries. A 24-year-old man driving a white Isuzu D-Max utility was airlifted to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with serious pelvic injuries, in a stable condition, the spokesperson said.
