A DESPERATE manhunt is underway this morning after a 22-year-old woman died after being mown down in a late-night hit-and-run.
Police say a vehicle ran over two people outside a takeaway after mounting the pavement in Oswestry, Shropshire.Credit: Google Maps Emergency services rushed to the scene following the horror outside Grill Out, in Willow Street, at around 2.50am on Sunday. Both pedestrians were taken to the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital by ambulance but tragically one woman died shortly after arrival.
West Mercia Police are now appealing to the public to hunt down the driver of a "light gold" or "champagne" coloured Volvo who is now on the run.
