A woman has been killed and another is fighting for life in hospital after a crash that involved a P-plater allegedly running a red light in Sydney's north west. 9News
Cindy Kung, 55, was killed on her nightly walk with her friend Zhen Liu, 54, when they were struck by cars involved in a crash in Beecroft about 8.30pm yesterday.

P-plater Simon Mouait, who was allegedly behind the wheel of the ute, was arrested at Ryde Hospital and taken to Ryde Police Station. The 20-year-old was charged with dangerous driving occasioning death, dangerous driving occasioning grievous bodily harm and failing to stop at a red light.Both drivers were uninjured and taken to hospital for mandatory testing following the accident.Continue reading
