Updated:A Silsby Road resident reported the theft of an Amazon package valued at $700 from his porch.At 8:20 a.m. Sept. 11, dispatch received a call stating that two or three children appeared to have been left unattended in a car parked in the University Square garage.Theft: Cedar Road

At 9 a.m. Sept. 11, police were called to the Speedway gas station, 14458 Cedar Road, where it was reported that a woman had stolen food and left the store.Theft: Warrensville Center Road At 10:30 a.m. Sept. 11, police were called to Macy’s, 2201 Warrensville Center Road, where store loss prevention personnel had detained a woman for stealing merchandise totaling $260. Police cited an Akron woman, 28, for theft.At 1 p.m. Sept. 11, officers were dispatched to a home in the 3500 block of Silsby Road on a report of a domestic violence incident. Upon officers’ arrival, the involved parties were no longer confrontational.

One person was taken to the hospital for head and neck pain. Police arrested a Cleveland man, 21, for domestic violence.At 3:50 p.m. Sept. 11, an employee of Heinen’s, 2180 S. Green Road, went to the police station to report a theft that had occurred Sept. 7.Theft: Silsby Road At 3:05 p.m. Sept. 12, a man, 47, went to the police station to report that an Amazon package containing goods worth $700 had been stolen from his home’s porch Sept. 3.At 6:25 a.m. Sept. 13, it was reported that someone had entered a car parked in a driveway and stolen keys for multiple properties.At 9:25 p.m. Sept. 15, an employee of Family Dollar, 13470 Cedar Road, reported that a man and woman had entered the store and that the man proceeded to steal items. The couple then left in a car.
