United States President-elect Donald Trump has disclosed details of a sweeping executive order on gender he plans to sign after his inauguration, marking one of the first major policy actions of his new administration.
revealed details of the order on Monday after speaking with two incoming senior administration officials.
Titled, “Defending Women from Gender Ideology Extremism and Restoring Biological Truth to the Federal Government”, the order will be signed within hours of the swearing in ceremony, the official said. Trump's incoming White House team has emphasised the order is rooted in protecting fairness, safety, and the opportunities of women.
