Charlotte Williams admitted having drugs inside her body at the gates to the dance music festival
A woman who planned to sell drugs at a music festival owned up to security before she got through the gates.
The judge, David Potter, was told how the defendant owned up at the gates to having the hollow plastic egg which was packed with ketamine and that it was "beyond a personal amount". A second egg was handed over which contained a small amount of cocaine. Defending, Simon Parry, told the court Williams was not the same person who "foolishly" took a chance at the dance music festival. He said: "She was a week on from her 19th birthday and she decided to try and and have a good time at Creamfields without thinking of the consequences of bringing drugs inside."
"Everyone is reminded that there is a zero tolerance policy for drugs, with amnesty bins offered before going inside. You, Miss Williams, chose to ignore all of those warnings."
