The woman was shocked after a neighbour approached her in a supermarket
The grandmother was out shopping when a woman who lives in a nearby house approached her and complimented her garden. She then went on to ask if her two young children would be able to use the garden to play in.
"She said something along the lines of: 'Oh you're from X house, it's a beautiful garden and loads of space! It's lovely.' "She said something like: 'Oh that's so sad. What a waste. I have an autistic little boy and a baby girl. My son loves tree houses and big trampolines. They'd love to use your garden if you'd be happy to.'
The woman's post was met with a flurry of comments from fellow Mumsnet users. One person said: "If she asks again, you need to give a clear no, or before long you will be hosting birthday parties for her kids in your garden."
