A Mississippi woman has been released from custody after authorities said they believe she acted in self-defense when she shot her alleged attacker Sunday. The incident occurred at about 1:36 a.m. outside a club in the area around Coila.
The incident occurred at about 1:36 a.m. outside a club in the area around Coila, according to a report citing Carroll County Sheriff Clint Walker.Michelle Hearn and a friend had left the club after Hearn and a man, identified by police as 31-year-old Lamarcus Woodson, had a dispute inside the club.
Woodson reportedly followed the pair outside and trailed them to a local residence, where he was warned to stay away.
