Woman invites sister for Christmas Day dinner - but charges her £20 for the meal
A Christmas Day meal with family is one of the most important events on the calendar for millions of households. But hosting several people for lunch or dinner can be expensive - and even more so this year as food prices and energy bills surge.
"I usually cook Christmas Day but go to family every third year but I don't know if I'd go if they wanted payment from me. Am I out of touch? Louise Murray wrote: "I think you need to remember how much food costs these days. May she can’t afford to put on a huge spread for everyone but still wants to see all the family.
