Lucinda Rose, 39, was so overwhelmed by planning her wedding that she couldn't even focus on her own big day - and it was three months before she could speak about it after being left 'burned out'.
A woman named Lucinda Rose, 39, who spent a whopping £40,000 on her wedding, was left feeling "broken" and unable to talk about her big day for months.

By the time her special day arrived, she was so overwhelmed that she couldn't even focus on her own wedding.
"It was a massive mental and financial load and it just kept snowballing. The month before the wedding I was so consumed with doing, making, finding and buying wedding things, that I barely slept and hardly saw Ian." With financial help from Lucinda's mum, they initially invited 50 guests. But soon, the guest list grew to 120 and what was once a small, £15,000 event "became an event".
"I wouldn't let Ian speak about it and I avoided talking to anyone because I knew they'd ask about it. When I finally discussed it with Ian, I couldn't verbalise why I was so broken, and I felt guilty and ashamed about it."
