NASA’s Jim Free says they won’t launch the Artemis-1 moon rocket until they are ready as the launch was called off for the second time in five days.
The mission was cancelled under three hours before its scheduled launch after a fuel leak was discovered during tanking.
Mr Free, who is the Associate Administrator for Exploration Systems Development Mission Directorate, said they were “confident” coming into launch day. “I hope you know we’re not where we want to be except with the vehicle safe,” he said during a media conference in Florida.
