Penny Wong has joined Amnesty International and leaders from France and the United States in condemning the Myanmar military's execution of four pro-democracy activists.
Four democracy activists were hanged by Myanmar’s military regime for leading “brutal and inhumane terror acts”, the state-run Global New Light of Myanmar newspaper reported on Monday.

The military junta – which seized power in February last year – has arrested dozens of anti-coup activists and sentenced them to death but these are the first to be executed in Myanmar for decades.
