Woolworths has reversed its decision to remove the online discount for Everyday Extra subscribers after facing backlash from shoppers. Starting from November 1, subscribers will once again be able to redeem their 10% monthly discount online at Woolworths and BIG W.
Woolworths has backflipped on a controversial decision affecting Everyday Extra subscribers after a fierce backlash from shoppers. The popular program was launched late in 2022, offering members a range of discounts and rewards for an annual subscription fee. As part of the Everyday Rewards Extra, subscribers were offered a 10 per cent discount on one Woolworths shop and one BIG W shop each month - an offer which could be used online or in-store.
“As a result from November 1, we will be reinstating the option for our Everyday Extra subscribers to redeem their 10 per cent monthly discount online, when shopping at Woolworths and BIG W. “We thank our customers for their feedback and hope this change will make it easier for our Everyday Extra subscribers to unlock even more value this Christmas and for the year ahead.
