The man in his 50s was seriously injured at a farm south-west of Hervey Bay, and has since died from his injuries at Sunshine Coast University Hospital.
The farm worker sustained serious injuries during an incident involving an excavator on Tuesday.A farm worker has died after being trapped under an excavator in Queensland's Fraser Coast region.
A Queensland Ambulance Services spokesman said units were called to the farm at 3:20pm, and assessed the man for life-threatening pelvic and abdominal injuries.
