Student Bethany Madden says she would 'never' attend the festival if she didn't get the perks staff get
A Leeds Festival worker has revealed the truths about being a staff member at the Bramham Park event.
Beth said: "Firstly, the hours. We worked 8am until 7pm on both Wednesday and Thursday, although we got let off early and actually finished at like, 5pm. We've had Friday and Saturday both completely off and all we have left to do is our Sunday shift which is 9am until 6pm.She moves on to reason number two and discusses staff camping, which she says is 'so much nicer than normal camping.
Beth said she managed to get the job via JobLink at University of Leeds. She added that staff were paid around £11.50 an hour. She also reveals that staff meals are "loads cheaper" than food purchased from the festival's vendors, and if you're lucky you may even get a free food voucher.
