Seven-time NFL Super Bowl champion Tom Brady has officially announced his retirement from the game... “for good”.
“I think you only get one super emotional retirement essay, and I used mine up last year. So, really, thank you guys, so much, to every single one of you, for supporting me. Across a career stretching 23 years, two teams, seven Super Bowl wins and five MVP awards, Brady has earned a reputation as one of the all-time greats across all sports, not just American football.Brady’s last game at the top level was a loss in the wildcard round of the playoffs last month.
Mahomes, who will compete for his second Super Bowl in just under two weeks, posted three goat emojis to Twitter, in reference to the acronym GOAT - greatest of all time. “I’m glad I was able to take the field with you one last time! Enjoy retirement, don’t dog me too much in the booth. Love ya man!”
