On the second anniversary of the Beirut Port blast that killed more than 200 people and injured around 6000, families of the victims have expressed their heartbreak at the lack of resolution regarding the investigation. Via SBSArabic24

The organisation says that as of June 2022, parliamentary immunity, as well as outstanding complaints and other procedural roadblocks initiated by two members of parliament and former ministers, continued to prevent significant progress in the case. A lawyer by profession, Ms Roukouz expresses her frustration at the lack of resolution regarding the investigation.
