Members of the Writers Guild of America protested outside an ABC studio where The View is filmed prior to the live broadcast Monday.
The demonstration happened between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. Footage of the event posted to social media showed at least a dozen protesters picketing outside the studio.In addition to WGA members, Rep. Jamaal Bowman and Federal Trade Commission Chairwoman Lina Khan joined the demonstration, according to the Writers Guild of America East.
"It's been a while. The strike is still happening, so we still don't have our writers, so [if] we look like we're a little discombobulated, that's because we're trying to read our handwriting," Goldberg said."OK, so when I say all our, I mean all of our, 'cause we're all sort of trying to get this done while the strike is happening, and we hope that this gets done soon, 'cause we miss our writers.
