TikTok is trying a new tactic in its efforts to reach a deal with U.S. regulators that would allow it to keep operating in the county: more transparency. Shou Zi Chew will appear before the House Energy and Commerce Committee on March 23, a committee spokesman said, in what would be the first appearance of a TikTok CEO before a congressional panel.
