The iconic X-Men heroine Rogue comes to life in stunning Marvel Cinematic Universe-ready cosplay. While the MCU is busy with the Multiverse Saga, there is a lot of anticipation for one of their future chapters after Phase 6. While they didn't have the rights for decades, Marvel Studios is finally bringing the X-Men into the MCU. Following Disney´s acquisition of 21st Century Fox, the movie rights for the Mutants have fallen under Marvel Studios' control.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY Even though the MCU hasn't brought in the classic X-Men comic characters yet, it's easy to imagine what the iconic heroes will look like in the franchise. With a great variety of characters that exist in the lore, there's a lot of room for experimenting with mixes of classic and updated looks.
One of the big fan-favorite X-Men characters is Rogue, who was last played by Anna Paquin in the original Fox movies. A talented cosplayer named Kate Gray recently donned her own Rogue costume, giving fans an idea of what she could look like in the MCU.What The X-Men's Costumes Will Be In The MCU Outside of Ms. Marvel and Namor, the only mainstream X-Men/Mutants coming to the MCU are Wolverine and Deadpool, with Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds reprising the role in Deadpool 3.
Professor X's appearance was modeled very much after X-Men: The Animated Series, even going as far as playing bits of the iconic theme song. Even though the show won't be tied to the MCU, Marvel Studios is reviving the iconic series as X-Men '97, which will continue the popular animated show.
Since Phase 7 is more than likely going to be where the Mutants have the spotlight, it will be intriguing to see how they adapt the X-Men this time around. Since Marvel Studios doesn't shy away from using costumes from the comics, long-time fans should expect to see some iconic adaptations in the movies and shows. The costume designers also always tend to find ways to modernize an iconic suit while also maintaining the core essence of each look.
