, had been pulled from the Microsoft Store in multiple regions overnight. In a statement given to The Verge, Microsoft says it has put an end to the offer and is looking into"different marketing promotions" for users.
"We have stopped our previous introductory offer for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass and are evaluating different marketing promotions for new members in the future," Xbox head of global communications Kari Perez confirmed toThe $1 trial had been around for several years and allowed new users to check out what Game Pass had to offer for a full month before renewing at $14.99 for Xbox Game Pass Ultimate or $9.99 a month for either Xbox Game Pass or PC Game Pass.
