It's finally here! Microsoft has begun rolling out a new Xbox Home screen on Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One:
and it's now"easier to discover new games, rediscover games you already love, connect with communities, and create a more personalized experience."
As you can see, the new Home does look a fair bit cleaner, and there is more space for a personalized background. To simplify the Home screen, Microsoft says it changed the layout by putting games you've recently played and other content and apps towards the bottom of the screen. At the top of the Home screen, you'll find a convenient menu that lets you quickly access your game Library, Microsoft Store, Xbox Game Pass, Search, and Settings.
The Friends & Community Updates tab has also been slimmed down, and the new Home also shows you"what media apps and content are available to you via a Watch & Listen spotlight and list of entertainment apps." The new Home experience is apparently rolling out to a"subset of all Xbox consoles," and some users may need to wait a few weeks for the update to hit.
