The Met Office has issued a warning
A yellow weather warning has been put in place as thunderstorms are expected. , as storms and heavy rain are expected across Nottinghamshire and other parts of the UK.
Nottingham is forecast to be cloudy on Sunday, with rain throughout the afternoon. However, the day is still expected to reach temperatures of 23C. The warning states: "Heavy rain and thunderstorms on Sunday will bring a chance of disruption to parts of England and Wales." This could lead to difficult driving conditions and possible road closures.
The forecast also shows that some light showers are expected throughout the start of next week from Monday, June 19 until Thursday, June 22.
