NSW Labor leader Michael Daley has given an 'iron-clad guarantee' to workers at Allianz Stadium that they will not be left jobless | EstherHjHan

The injunction preventing "hard demolition" of the walls and roof remains in place until 5pm on Friday.

Labor wants the government to stop the $730 million knockdown and rebuild of the stadium, and if it's beyond repair, has said it would build a "modest", world-class venue.Credit:Mr Daley said if Labor wins, all stadium workers would remain government employees and challenged Premier Gladys Berejiklian to give the same guarantee.

"Every project we build creates thousands of jobs. There would be far more jobs lost if the project was cancelled."The bid to stop the demolition failed in the Land and Environment Court on Wednesday but Local Democracy Matters and Waverley Council have until 2pm on Thursday to decide whether they will appeal to the Supreme Court.
