The iconic Australian song is at the heart of a new advertising campaign by the Uluru Dialogue, matched with feelgood moments from the nation’s history.
You’re the Voice
The new campaign follows a family as they witness the feel good moments from Australian history, including the America’s Cup victory, gun law reform by the Howard government and the 2008 apology to the stolen generation. “This song changed my life. I can only hope that now it might help, in some small way, to change the lives of our First Nations Peoples for the better,” he said in a statement.The campaign was developed by The Monkeys, part of Accenture Song, alongside Professor Davis historian Professor Clare Wright.
