Manchester United have signed the Norway forward Celin Bizet from Tottenham on a three-year contract

. The fee is undisclosed but United are believed to have met her release clause, understood to be about £60,000.

Bizet travelled to Marbella with the rest of the United squad on Tuesday for their warm-weather, pre-season training camp after passing a medical on Sunday. The 22-year-old spent two seasons at Spurs after playing for Paris Saint-Germain. She scored four Women’s Super League goals last term in 20 appearances.

Bizet, who has 21 Norway caps, said: “I’m very excited to take this next step in my career, and sign for such a great club as Manchester United.
