The 19-year-old victim was walking through the Justins Lane carpark in Burleigh Heads just after 8pm yesterday with friends when he got into an argument with an unknown man.

The man allegedly then punched the victim in the head, causing him to fall backwards and hit his head on the ground.The attacker allegedly then ran from the scene.Police arrested a 28-year-old Burleigh Heads man in the area.He has been denied bail and is due to appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on Monday, October 3.
