Iain Armitage is looking back on his time with YounSheldon, sharing a photo from the set of season 1 highlighting how far he's grown across six seasons.
A Young Sheldon season 1 behind-the-scenes image emphasizes how much Sheldon Cooper has grown in The Big Bang Theory spin-off over the last six years. After a successful decade on the air, CBS greenlit the first The Big Bang Theory offshoot in an effort to capitalize on the sitcom's popularity. Being its unofficial lead, the network decided to center the prequel on Sheldon, with the show serving as the character's origin story.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY As Armitage writes in the caption, this was taken before his very first take as the character, where the character was still in high school. In Young Sheldon season 6, Sheldon is already in college at East Texas Tech, although despite his intellect, things haven't been great with his experience as part of the academic organization lately.
