After taking a week off, CBS is releasing a fresh outing for TV's number one comedy and instead of continuing Missy's storyline, it will shift its focus to another plot — the Cooper parents' crumbling marriage. This time Mary gets a one-on-one with George's purported mistress.
CBS rolled out a brand new Young Sheldon season 6 episode 17 trailer which includes a snippet of Mary's intense conversation with Brenda. What Mary & Brenda’s Confrontation Means For George In Young Sheldon Season 6 Ever since Mary and George's massive blow-up at the hospital during Mandy's labor, there has been anticipation on what's next for the couple. The pair continues to sleep separately, as Mary stays across the street in her mom's place. However, after Missy went missing, Young Sheldon has yet to provide an update about George and Mary's marital woes.
As Young Sheldon deals with George and Brenda's relationship, it's curious if the show is also planning on bringing Pastor Rob back. Sheldon's story about catching his dad cheating is confirmed not to happen in season 6. This leaves The Big Bang Theory prequel time to tackle other plot lines, including the Cooper matriarch's own transgressions.
