Police have responded to a number of violent incident in Melbourne's south-east, following a tense stand-off involving about 50 youthsMobile phone video posted to social media shows one of the violent clashes between the groups.

A 16-year-old Hallam youth was arrested for breaching the peace and was bailed to appear at Frankston court to answer a charge of behaving in a riotous manner and using offensive language. Police remained in the area, patrolling the foreshore and the shopping precinct for several hours until the youths left.Police also responded to a brawl in Mordialloc yesterday but say the incidents are not related.
