Zachary Levi seemingly took some shots at fellow DC Universe star Dwayne Johnson following a report that Johnson nixed cameos in Shazam 2.
Underneath the screenshot, Levi seemed to confirm the report, writing “the truth shall set you free” alongside an upside-down smiley face emoji and a pair of hands celebrating.
Instead of members of the Justice Society, characters Emilia Harcourt and John Economos from the HBO seriesThe report also mentions that Johnson had attempted to “restructure” the DCEU, centering it around himself and Henry Cavill’s Superman, although it’s unclear how true that is. Regardless, with the recent resetting of the DC Universe from James Gunn and Peter Safran, and Henry Cavill now officially out as Superman, any hopes of a Black Adam and Superman clash seem all but gone.
