El presidente ucraniano Volodymyr Zelenskyy viajó el martes a la vecina Rumania para conversaciones con su contraparte sobre la seguridad regional y el fortalecimiento de relaciones, en medio de la invasión rusa a su país.
Después de reunirse con el presidente Klaus Iohannis en la capital, Bucarest, Zelenskyy describió la asociación entre los dos países como clave para la “estabilidad para Europa y más allá”, en la red social X, antes Twitter.
Rumania ha confirmado que fragmentos de drones han caído en su territorio y que son del mismo tipo que usa el ejército ruso. Ucrania y Rumania firmaron un acuerdo en agosto para tratar de impulsar las exportaciones ucranianas de granos a través de Rumania, luego que Rusia se retiró de un acuerdo mediante el cual permitía el paso de los granos por el Mar Negro.
