On Tuesday, December 3, Deschanel posted a video to Instagram along with the caption, "She & Him Christmas Party starts tomorrow night in Philadelphia! 🎄 We can’t wait!" In the clip, she shares a preview of one of the songs she'll be performing with She & Him bandmate M. Ward, "I'll Be Home for Christmas.
Instead, Deschanel's hair looks nearly blonde. Although not as light as it was in Elf, the color is a caramel hue — arguably a "bronde" shade, if you will. The lights in the rehearsal space bounce off the not-quite-straight, not-quite-wavy style, emphasizing a seamless blend of medium-brown tones and golden blonde highlights.
