Pro-Palestinian protesters have gathered in Sydney and Melbourne, with many saying the Israel-Hamas ceasefire deal does not go far enough.

Pro-Palestine demonstrators have gathered in Sydney and Melbourne , hours before a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hamas is due to come into effect.

However, at least one activist group in Melbourne, the Liberation Crew, will stop attending the rallies, saying instead their focus would shift towards "advocacy, rebuilding and accountability efforts".
