Sydney Lord Mayor Clover Moore has confirmed she will run for a sixth term in the September local government elections.

Ms Moore, who said she felt “energised” by the prospect of transforming the city, called on Sydneysiders to vote for her as the work “is not done”.“When I walk into Town Hall in the morning, I am energised about our work transforming the City,” Ms Moore said. She continued to voice her concerns about the longevity of these policies and projects if a major party was elected.
“Independent teams that I have led have provided progressive, corruption-free governance since 2004 and can be trusted to continue this work.
