‘Ragtag bunch’: Cricket Victoria claims ‘extraordinary’ upset win in 13-year T20 first

Along with Victoria and the Guyana Warriors, the Hampshire Hawks, Lahore Qalandars and Rangpur Riders are the other teams competing. Guyana batted first and posted a total of 6/162 off 20 overs, with Moeen topscoring with 51 off 33 balls. Dutch wicketkeeper-batter Scott Edwards scored 31 off 25 and America duo Sanjay Krishnamurthi and Karima Gore also chipped in to get the Victorians home with four balls to spare in a thriller.Victorian coach David Hussey and captain Corey Anderson looked ecstatic as the Cricket Victoria side celebrated in the dugout.

Even before a ball was bowled, you’d have given them little chance.Anderson has represented both New Zealand and the USA and is best known for scoring a One Day International century off 36 balls in 2014, setting a new record for the fastest ODI hundred at the time.
