The Brisbane Metro buses were meant to be a cheaper alternative to a subway. However, it has now cost $1.55 billion, more than the original plan it replaced, and the bendy buses won't be on the road until sometime next year.

In 2016, the plan had stated that the Brisbane Metro would arrive every two minutes during peak hours, however, that was later revised to every three minutes and then five minutes.
