Sydney is experiencing a mass exodus unlike anything we have seen before.
While it used to feel like the place everyone wanted to be, once devoted Sydney siders are abandoning the city in droves.
Many young people simply cannot fathom being financially stable enough anywhere in Australia, let alone in Sydney, to attain the dream of what their parents and grandparents once had: a decent sized home, a bit of back yard and a paid-off mortgage. “There is no denying it is a beautiful city, but we wanted to live in a house with a backyard and ideally by the beach.“We moved up to Ballina just for a month, and we already have such a lovely neighbours who offer to babysit and have invited us around for a cup of tea.
