Olympics: Peter Badel joins Matty Johns and James Magnussen on the Matty and the Missile podcast to chat about the recent Boxing controversy as Imane Khelif and Lin Yu-ting continue their Olympic campaign.
Germany star Nils Politt rushed inside a packed pub to relieve himself during the men’s road race .Politt was seen coming out of the pub Cafe des 2 Moulin, which featured in the 2001 film Amelie, having parked up his bike on the course.
“It was really warm, we were drinking a lot of water, ate a lot of gels and normally I don’t have problems. But today I had an upset stomach.”Politt, who won a stage in the Tour de France in 2021, finished 70th – almost 20 minutes behind winner Remco Evenepoel. Evenepoel also came out on top in the men’s time trial, just days after finishing third in the Tour de France.
