Porsche's Cayenne Turbo GT currently holds the record for SUVs at the 'Ring, but Aston Martin is out to dethrone it.
New video shows the DBX707 testing hard at the Nürburgring, perhaps in preparation for a record attempt. Moers said at the DBX707's launch in February that the SUV is already close to matching the Porsche's time on regular Pirelli P Zero tires and not the stickier Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires the Porsche is fitted with. New tires could be what this latest round of testing at the 'Ring is for.The DBX707 also has a key advantage: more power. Total output from the SUV's 4.
Official performance claims for the DBX707 include a 0-60 mph time of 3.1 seconds and a top speed of 193 mph. The Porsche has the same 0-60 time but tops out at 186 mph. Hopefully we'll have an answer soon. The DBX707 is new for the 2023 model year. It's priced from about $240,000.
