It's election day in the Northern Territory, where voters are still casting their ballots this afternoon to determine who will govern for the next four years.

The contest is tipped to be close, with Territory Labor chasing a third term and the Country Liberal Party looking to win enough seats to form government after eight years in the political wilderness."There will be a swing against the government," he says."There's a whole bunch of reasons why you'd think the government could lose badly if things go wrong."

Mr Green says a CLP path to victory would start with the party holding two seats it won by less than 25 votes at the 2020 election -"I haven't seen anything in the pre-poll voting and the remote polling to indicate something changing ," he says.
