A live interactive map has been released which shows the 60 lowest rated food outlets in Leeds which have a poor food hygiene rating.
Pizza takeaways are the worst-performing category, with 6% failing their latest food hygiene inspection. Leeds' zero-rated food outlets include OB Special , Babel Grill and El-Shaddai Foods Limited .The live interactive food hygiene map has been provided by Pantry and Larder. The map lets you see all low rated food establishments in close proximity to where you are. Simply click the locator icon, and optionally choose a category such as Kebab, Fish & Chips, Chinese, etc.
Veronica Fletcher, the founder of Pantry and Larder, said: "Food hygiene isn’t something that should be glossed over. Bad food hygiene standards can have far-reaching consequences, so it’s important that people are aware of them before picking somewhere to eat.
