A “culture of entitlement” appears to have set in at the top echelons of the New South Wales Coalition government after 12 years in power, NSW Shadow Treasurer Daniel Mookhey says.
NSW Deputy Liberal Leader Stuart Ayres informed Premier Dominic Perrottet on Wednesday he would resign from his ministerial positions amid an ongoing inquiry into John Barilaro’s New York trade appointment. “I think most people tuning in today would think it’s a good thing Stuart Ayres is now gone,” Mr Mookhey told Sky News host Chris Kenny.
“But I definitely think questions remain for Mr Perrottet about why it took so long for him to see what was obvious to so many others.”
