Family Violence Survivor Nicole Lee says the “piece of legislation” NSW Attorney-General Mark Speakman released looking into the criminalisation of coercive control does not “speak to the system responses that are needed” for victims.

“The draft bill before New South Wales only speaks to intimate partner relationships, so its not speaking to all the relationships that we have in our lives that

involve abuse or where abuse can happen,” Ms Lee told Sky News Australia.“What we are saying is that we want a system that is safe for all victim survivors to be able to go to.”
