Former US president Donald Trump took to Truth Social on Sunday to pin blame on GOP Senate Leader Mitch McConnell over Republicans losing the battle to win control of the upper chamber.
Mr Trump claimed Senator McConnell “blew the midterms”, partly because he refused to financially back candidates he’d endorsed.
“It’s Mitch McConnell’s fault. Spending money to defeat great Republican candidates instead of backing Blake Masters and others was a big mistake,” Mr Trump posted on Truth social. Mr Trump then went on to claim “everyone despises” the Kentucky senator – and even attacked his wife.Read More
