‘He has no achievements’: Joe Biden’s ‘usefulness’ has ‘come to an end’‘He has no achievements’: Joe Biden’s ‘usefulness’ has ‘come to an end’US President Joe Biden's usefulness has 'come to an end', Curtin University political analyst Professor Joe Siracusa says. Only 13 per cent of the American people believe the country is moving in the right direction, according to a recent New York Times/ Siena College poll. The poll also found that 77 per cent of Americans (including 27 per cent of Democrats) believe the country is moving in the wrong direction. 'It's about numbers – and in this sense the President's domestic agenda has been a disaster – and he has no achievements to point to,' Prof Siracusa told Sky News Australia. 'Equally important, is that the President has very little to show in the area of foreign policy.' Prof Siracusa said Mr Biden has been trying to 'play catch up' on his dwindling popularity ever since the botched Afghanistan withdrawal last year. 'Since that time, President Putin ... has called the President's bluff, President Xi has called his bluff, Chairman Kim has called his bluff and so on and so on,' he said. 'We have a president who – even though he is commander-in-chief of the most powerful military in the world – has become irrelevant. 'Putin can do what he wants because he doesn't have to talk to Biden anymore – so I think the President's usefulness has come to an end.'

President Joe Biden said on Wednesday the US government will cancel $10,000 in student loans for millions of debt-saddled former college students. 'That's right, whether you're an unemployable gender studies grad or working as a junior associate after a stint at Yale Law, you're $20,000 ahead,' Mr Morrow said. 'The cost to ordinary Americans? Up to $2,000 per head. 'Money which will presumably be collected by Joe Biden's new, expanded, more aggressive IRS. 'Whether it's Trump or DeSantis in 2024 doesn't matter at this stage – the Democrats have just given the Republicans an issue they can run on for a decade.'
