The Australian’s National Chief Correspondent Hedley Thomas says the alleged negligence at a Queensland government DNA testing lab is “the worst failure of the criminal justice system” in Queensland’s history.
“What it is showing is that murderers and rapists throughout Queensland over a number of years, and it could be going back as many as 15 years, have got away with their crimes,” he told Sky News host Peta Credlin.
