Gene signature points to prognosis in kidneycancer NatureComms

interactions may contribute to immune evasion by the tumor. If so, these interactions would represent a potential therapeutic targetIn conclusion, our study provides several important biological insights about ccRCC: We identify a distinct metastatic signature that predicts survival outcome, we characterized a proximal tubule cell population that may represent the ccRCC cell of origin, and we dissect the immunosuppressive environment and the stromal alterations in treatment-naïve patients.

Thermal cycler with 96-Deep Well Reaction Module . Amplified cDNA and final libraries were evaluated on an Agilent BioAnalyzer using a High Sensitivity DNA Kit . Individual libraries were diluted to 4 nM and pooled for sequencing. Pools were sequenced with 75 cycle run kits on the NextSeq 500 Sequencing System to ~70–80% saturation level.

A local tumor microenvironment acquired super-enhancer induces an oncogenic driver in colorectal carcinoma - Nature CommunicationsA local tumor microenvironment acquired super-enhancer induces an oncogenic driver in colorectal carcinoma - Nature CommunicationsThe changes in super-enhancer (SE) landscape of cancers are mainly attributed to cell-intrinsic genomic alterations. Here, the authors perform epigenomic profiling on primary colorectal cancers (CRCs) and their matched normal tissues and show that local tumour microenvironment induces a SE activation and that its target, PDZK1IP1 promotes CRC growth.
